Where:  Meetings are held at Spin! Pizza 1808 NW Chipman Rd in Lee’s Summit. Special events are held at Truman Medical Center Lakewood. For directions- see map below.

Childcare:  Meetings are adult orientated. Lap babies only please.

What Happens at Meeting
  •  Family members have the chance to talk about their frustrations, fears, and successes in a safe environment. They can network with others coping with the same issues to trade tips and strategies.
  •  Information regarding food allergy is shared including, but not limited to:
          food products' ingredients updates & food recalls
          research, treatment and legislative news
          ideas for living everyday life with food allergies
          tips for educating family members, schools, and the others about food allergy
          books, recipes and articles about food allergies
          member reviews of food allergy websites and products

FAC:Food Allergy Connection-Your Johnson County KS Connection

We are a south-Kansas City-based support group for families dealing with food
allergies. We meet the 4th Thursday of each month at the Panera at Oak Park
Mall, 7 pm. Come join us and discuss the ups and downs of dealing with food
allergies while getting support from others!

A Word From Jenny Giles - Your Clay County Connection

Kansas City Northland Food Allergy Support Group We are a group of parents who meet monthly to provide one another with information, support, resources, stories, challenges and successes about caring for children with food allergies.
